Curiosity.

Now THAT is what you call CURIOSITY.

A faerie spotting a teenage boy lying on the meadow, and then she started being fascinated at the amazing creature. Oh the love.

Yes. The boy is from the cover of
The Loser's Guide To Life and Love by A.E. Cannon. When I was reading the book, I can't help but sketch the boy in the cover. He's simply amazing.

READ THE BOOK GUYS! IT'S FUNNY.

Just getting into the "New Moon" mania. :))  Though I have to be completely honest here, I'm not much of a Jacob Black fan, I'm an Eddie Dude. :)) DEAL WITH IT! XD Imma watch New Moon tomorrow with my high school mates. :) What's the better way to watch it than with those psychotic dudes?

Yes, I know it's an old drawing. I haven't been drawing these days for my own pleasure if you disregard the The LaSallian artworks. That thing has a deadline! XD

Anyways, this is pretty much it. Sorry for not updating for a millennium. Been busy with school shizz. Jeez, man. College is tough. *insert problematic face*

Secret love, my escape. Take me far far away. ---Mayday Parade, "Anywhere But Here"

The German Twins.

To be completely honest here, I really love the way how this portrait turned out. :) Yeah, as you can see the date is 4/11/09. Yeah, made it in summer this year, so that's very long time ago. That was before I enrolled at LaSalle i think. *thinks* yeah! Definitely! HAHHA XD

Again, Tom and Bill Kaulitz, I have to say I really put a lot of effort into Tom's cap! And I couldn't be any happier and also Bill's hair! See those tiny freakin' strands? XD AHHAHAH! That was fun to make as well. I really loved this one from all of the rest, I dunno why maybe because they're too young here. :)

The Academy Is... : Lost in the Pacific Time.

I just wanna say that i seriously have no idea that they already have FIVE NEW FREAKIN' SONGS! :O :O When have I been hiding? Have I been hiding under a rock for that long? Sheessh, man!

Anyways, The Academy Is..., once again, never failed to amaze me. :) This EP was worth the download, frankly speaking. I love all songs, but you can never avoid having that one favourite (how British was that?) song among the rest right? I have to say that Days Like Masquerade really caught my attention the second the chorus started. :) Don't know what I'm talking about? I say, give it a listen and you'll know why.

There are only five songs in this EP, and they're all great as what I've said earlier. :)
  • New York (Saint In The City)
  • Sputter
  • Days Like Masquerades
  • I'm Yours Tonight
  • In The Rearview
Oh and school's gonna resume this Monday already! T__T I don't want to go back to school yet! I'm still enjoying my staying-home-doing-nothing-at-all-but-be-in-front-of-the-laptop thing! T___T

Unfinished business.

I'm not done with this yet, yeah, I'm pretty lame now, eh? HAHAHAH This is supposed to be Jared from Spiderwick Chronicles. Wait, it was Jared, right? I forgot na. It's Freddie Highmore, yeah, i get it, it doesn't look like him at all, which is why i need to practice more. I need more inspiration, more motivation. HAHAHHAHA I haven't sketched in a while actually, maybe I should pick up that Staedtler pencil again and make friends with sketchpaddie. :)

The world is my canvas.

This dude, HE HAS A NAME!! >:) His name is NATHAN! Yes, he's so awesome I have to give him my other name. :) Actually, it was Harlene who suggested that, because both of us like that name. :)

ABOUT THE ARTWORK:

Each artist uses different mediums to where they will make that art of theirs, from papers to walls, to doors, to boards and so on. I can all say one thing: The biggest, wait, the greatest canvas of every artist is nothing but the world itself. :) (naks! deep yun ah! XD)

WHATTA AWESOME BIRTHDAY! :)

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!

HAHAHAH the heck you care right? Anyways, I just wanna say that I'm very glad and happy that I have awesome friends who greeted today and even those who greeted me yesterday! :)

This has been an awesome day so far, despite the rain, though I am quite thankful about the rain because our class was suspended! BOOYAH!! The first one to call me and greet me was my Mom, it was 6am! I was still sleeping, man! HAHHAHA

When I woke up around 9am, i was surprised to see my cellular phone displaying the message of "NO SPACE FOR NEW MESSAGES" I smiled so wide. :) Because all my friends texted me a Happy Birthday, the usual message was "Cathrel! Happy Birthday! I love you and I miss you so much!" Those came from my high school friends, I'm so glad they remembered. Of course, I have to thank each one of them. :)

There were also a lot of my friends who greeted me on Facebook! Thanks to them my facebook page is full of "HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATH! :)" I couldn't be any happier. :) And also for the ones who greeted me in Yahoo Messenger! THANK YOU!! Some of them greeted me twice, one for the "advance" and one for the actual day. HAHAHHAHAH :)

ABOUT THE ARTWORK:

Okay about the artwork, THAT VERY THING HAS BEEN PUBLISHED AS A FUEL FOR THE LASALLIAN SEPTEMBER ISSUE! YAY! *dances around happily*

JUST SO YOU KNOW. THAT IS A BOY AND A GIRL. A lot of people kept on telling me it's TWO BOYS who are best friends. T___T I fail at giving the message of such sweetness and kiligness in that artwork. Oh well, at least it was published. :D

The story behind that drawing is, TWO best friends, GIRL and BOY. The girl likes to think that she draws better than the guy when in fact the guy draws 10000 times better than her. Just check out her funny drawing of her best friend. Since they're best friends, the guy would just let her think that way. HAHAHA :)

Oh and I can't help but be proud on the inside every time i walked around De La Salle seeing people smiling and appreciating my drawing. It makes me wanna say I made that! and I'm glad you like it! :) HAHHAHA but i can't. XD I might get weird looks from them. Some people told me that my drawing really stood out. :) I'm just happy The LaSallian gave me this opportunity! THANK YOU!! :) AHAH NAKS! DRAMA! XD

Brisingr (the awesome dragon drawing!)

This is the cover of the book Brisingr, the third installment of The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paulini (I haven't finished reading it though). I just wanted to draw something besides human beings and tah-dah! I saw my oh-so-thick-and-oh-so-heavy-book in my room and decided to draw it. :)

It actually turned out better than I expected it to be. :)
